Love1. A deep and tender feeling of affection for or attachment or devotion to a person or personsIn the Bible love is sometimes translated as charity (an act of goodwill or affection which implies that good works derive from love) and spoken of as that which will be left when all other gifts are gone: 1st Corinthians 13:8,13In the dictionary the word charity is also defined as: the feeling of goodwill, benevolence, kindness or leniency in judging others, and a voluntary giving of money or other help to those in need. This shows that where there are love feelings there will be positive results or actions toward others - love implies good behavior toward another. In John 15:13 it records that Yahshua the Messiah said "greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." He even said in Matthew 5:44 to "...love your enemies..." and in Matthew 19:19 he states that one should "love thy neighbor as thyself..." Everyone knows that John 3:16 declares, "For Yahweh so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Yahweh's son, Yahshua, gave His life for us while we were yet sinners (enemies to the good). The life that Yahshua laid down for us was pure and holy, without sin, the only life that could serve as the ultimate sacrifice for all of our disobedience to Yahweh, to save our souls. Believing the report that He did this for us is the requirement to receive His Holy Spirit to free us from sin (Heb 11:6, 9:26) and at the universal revelation for our souls to receive glorified spiritual bodies (Rom 8:17; Phil 3:21) and learn in ages to come instead of being assigned to the Mystery of Iniquity, forever ruled by Satan. To have faith in this salvation, evidence is required (Heb 11:1) and when received it produces knowledge that becomes part of our minds and hearts, the requirement for eternal life according to John 17:3. Clearly love is a very important attribute of Yahweh, one He wants us to learn through this purpose He has ordained, planned before creation, and which follows His own pattern, the Divine Pattern of the Universe: the Tabernacle Pattern. So that we could learn love, He even stepped into a supernal and incorporeal form to create the spiritual and physical realms as Yahweh Elohim, and revealed Himself at times (Ex 24:10; Ez 1:26; Jer 1:2; Jonah 1:1 to name a few) to prophets to begin to work out his plan for our salvation. As Yahweh Elohim He also created Satan, a perfectly created (Ez 28:14-15) and the most powerful angelic being, who in his conceit then proceeded to attempt to overthrow Yahweh, and by counterfeiting Yahweh's power and plan he deceived one third of the angels into following his lead and there was then war in heaven with the Archangel Michael finally throwing Satan and his cohorts, now called demons, into the earthplane, where with his Yahweh-granted great power Satan has deceived the entire world (Rev. 12:8-10). Mankind was thus given over to the example of no love, bad actions toward others and disobedience to Yahweh in order that Yahweh Elohim could manifest Himself in the earthplane, in a corporeal form, at the appointed time as Yahshua the Messiah on a mission to prove Who He is by fulfilling prophecy and finally sacrificing His specially prepared physical body to free us from Satan and his demons so that our souls could be saved in His body, in unity for eternity: understand His existence, His power, His love, and His spirit law and nature (John 4:24); that He is the one true Elohim or God as the world calls Him. Terrible, terrible things happen on the earthplane because of Satan's rulership of it. Human beings, with far less power than Satan, cannot overcome their lusts which Satan uses to keep them in bondage to himself and ignorant of Yahweh. Once a person hears and receives the Truth as taught by another, the way Yahweh intended it to be (I Cor 1:21), his/her eyes and ears are open to the Satanic machinations going on in the earthplane. After many tests and chastisements allowed by Yahweh to teach us the error of our thinking and our selfishness, we begin to realize all we have gone through was because He loved us enough to call us and then to choose us to know His eternal power, His truth, His salvation. "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, saith Yahweh" (Is 55:8-9). In His love and understanding of what we are burdened with in the realms that He created to work His purpose through, we can escape doing Satan's will by Yahweh's salvation. Once seeing clearly, it feels literally like a crazy world, a hell, that we are in but not of, and that is actually the case. Yahweh came into the physical as Yahshua the Messiah to provide us, created beings with physical bodies and souls, a way by which we can escape being ruled by Satan. Yahweh provided this salvation for the angels that did not sin as well. We live in the flesh but a short time, we live in eternity forever in one state or another. Yahweh's love empowers people who have His Holy Spirit to give His love and knowledge of the Gospel freely to others. Whether they accept the knowledge is a gift only possible if Yahweh empowers them to hear and see the Truth of it. This is the manner by which people are saved. Yahweh Elohim is doing all the work and we are willing vessels of His will to see His purpose manifested. His purpose is "...to gather together in one all things in the Messiah..." (Eph 1:10). When one is saved, one will manifest love to his neighbor as well as those in the faith but Yahshua did say, "By this shall all know that ye are My disciples, if ye have love one to another" (John 13:35). Speaking the Truth of the Gospel to another is the greatest manifestation of love and often it is not received, indeed one is frequently reviled for speaking it. When one considers that we have all been led astray, have all taken into our minds and hearts the error of the world ruled by Satan (John 12:31), the thoughts and concepts of confusion or Babel, then we can see how very hard it will be to hear the Truth, finally. It will hurt, it will be resisted often and frequently refused outright. A great deal of love is required to face all that rejection, objection, and even revilement to go ahead and speak it when called upon to do so and we could not overcome all that without the Holy Spirit which gives us Yahweh's love and direction to speak the Gospel and its mystery as well as when not to not speak it to another so he or she is not stumbled at a time not providential. We come at unique times in our education on this earthplane to receive or reject the Truth. When we are ready, He will provide a teacher which is quite literally a visitation of Yahweh because everyone with the Holy Spirit is in Yahshua's body, an Ambassador for the True Gospel. |
