- To fulfill the institution of the Passover by
being the Lamb of Yahweh which John the Baptist called Him (John 1:29)
as did John the Revelator or Beloved (Rev 5:5-6):
- By having no broken bones like the first Passover lamb (Ex 12:46; Ps
34:20).
- Note: our bones point to our inner man or soul
and His inner man was the sinless Holy Spirit whose physical body was the
acceptable, perfect sacrifice for the world's sins.
- By having 4 points of blood on Him (hands, 2 nails + feet,1 nail + head,
1 crown of thorns = 4) like the 4 points of lamb's blood on the door at
Passover (Ex 12: 7,22: sideposts, 2 + lintel, 1 + dipping from 1 basin =
4). The lamb's blood caused the death angel to "passover" the
Israelites' houses preventing physical death from entering. Yahshua's blood
prevents our eternal spiritual death (damnation: being eternally alienated
from the presence of Yahweh and suffering eternal delegation to the Mystery of Iniquity's kingdom) by causing a passover
from spiritual death into spiritual life while yet in a physical body (or
going from a carnal mind to a spiritual mind or soul) for those that believe
and thereby receive the Holy Spirit which enables
this transformation.
- By His physical body being totally consumed while in a sealed sepulchre
(Matt 27:64; Luke 24:2-3) like the first Passover lamb which had to
be totally consumed or the remains burnt up (Ex 12:10) .
- By going to His death as quietly as a lamb as was prophesied in Is
53:7, without defending Himself or trying to escape - sheep are known
the world over for their lack of fight at the approach of death.
- To fulfill the Tabernacle pattern ( a pattern of
heavenly things - Heb 8:5):
- The 4 points of blood on Yahshua also fulfilled the altar of sin
sacrifice that was built, according to the vision given to Moses by Elohim
(Ex 25:8-9), with 4 horns on which the blood of the sacrifice was put
(Ex 29:12). He also fulfilled many other 4 points of blood evident in
Bible stories. The number 4 (sometimes with place setter zeros attached to
it such as 40, 400, 4000) is a special principle carried out repeatedly in
Bible stories. In the Tabernacle the door to the Holy
Place (which allows an exit from the Court Round About which is a type of
the physical plane or bondage to Satan and carnal thinking) opens into a
place we are counseled to stand (Dan 9:27; Matt 24:15), and that door
is the 4th step of the pattern. Yahshua Himself said He was the door
(John 10:9) so the only way into the Holy Place where we are told to
stand, is through Him.
- NOTE:
After His death there was a 5th point of blood made in His
side (a spear was thrust into His body and out came blood and water) which
fulfills Adam's side being opened and Eve being
created from his rib and womb (KJ Gen 2:22 {rib}; Holy Name Gen 2:18
&19 {womb}). This opened the door (Yahshua is the door of
salvation - John 10:9) for Yahshua's spiritual bride to come back into
His spiritual body. This has to do with the principle of 5 which step 5 in
the Tabernacle is the golden 7-branched candlestick which provides
illumination in the dark and of which the center candle provides oil for
all the other candles. Yahshua also said He was the light (John
8:12).
- By announcing that He was the bread (John 6:51), the door
(John 10:9), the light (John 8:12), and the intercessor (not
the Pope and not Mary) between Yahweh and mankind (Romans 8:34) which
things are all in the Holy Place of the Tabernacle pattern (intercession is
the principle of the Altar of Incense which is utilized by the High Priest
to waft pleasing fragrance into the Most Holy Place to please Yahweh in
Israel's behalf), He made known that the Tabernacle itself and its functions
were merely a type and shadow of Himself and His mission as the Messiah. He
fulfilled, physically and spiritually, the physical Tabernacle and set it
aside just as He also fulfilled the entire Law (nailed it to His cross -
Col 2:14) perfectly so it could be set aside including all it's
ordinances such as water baptisms or washings and
suppers or passovers. The appropriate temple now
is our bodies (I Cor 3:16).
- When after 40 days of allowing witnesses to see Him after His
resurrection, Yahshua was taken up ONCE into heaven on a mission to fulfill
the trips into the Most Holy Place yearly on the Day of
Atonement (made by the High Priest for 1490 years to provide
intercession for Israel), there Yahshua broke up His Holy Spirit or His
spiritual body for those that had faith to consume after which they would
have "..out of their belly...flow rivers of living water...(but thus spake
He of the Holy Spirit, which they that believe on Him should receive...)"
(John 7:27-29). In the Tabernacle and later in the Temple if that
yearly atonement was made correctly by the Levitical High Priest and he saw
the vision of Yahweh Elohim in the Shekinah on the Mercy Seat at the top of
the Ark of the Covenant, he and Israel were forgiven their sins for another
year. Now if we accept the one atonement made by Yahshua the Messiah (Heb
9:25-28) who is the High Priest of the never-ending Melchizedek
Priesthood that replaced the Levitical Priesthood (Heb 7), then the
flash of the Shekinah enlightens our minds (souls).
This is made possible when we have the knowledge of the mystery of Yahweh
revealed to us and we thereby receive faith in the salvation provided by
Yahweh through His physical son, Yahweh Elohim in a physical body or Yahshua
the Messiah (which means Yahweh is salvation), and we receive the Holy Spirit that ushers us into His glorious eternal
body.
- He not only shed His blood, water, and spirit when He gave up the spirit
and then was pierced (causing blood and water to flow from His body)
to fulfill the Court Round About functions in the Tabernacle pattern, He also fulfilled those same things
when He was baptized in water by John the Baptist to "...fulfill all
righteousness..." (water - Matt 3:11-16), "...the spirit of Yahweh
descending on Him like a dove..." (spirit - Matt 3:16), and then He
was crucified (blood) just as the sacrifice in the Court Round About had to
be killed (blood), washed (water) by the priest who had been annointed (a
type of spirit) and then burned on the altar of sacrifice. The principle
of blood, water and spirit, OR water, spirit and blood, OR spirit, blood and
water in any configuration points to the gospel: that
Yahshua died for our sins so we might receive salvation. They are all
principles of the sacrifical area of the Tabernacle in the Court Round About
which is a type of the physical plane and pointed to the death, burial, and
resurrection of Yahshua the Messiah. He fulfilled the ultimate blood, water
and spirit witnesses of which I John 5:8KJV speaks and of which there
are many, many types and shadows in the Old Testament in order to give
witness to Who died on that cross. Yahshua's blood and water came out of his
side when it was pierced with a spear, and His spirit left just prior to
that. That is a tremendous witness to say Yahshua was the Messiah Israel had
been looking for and then missed at that time (in order to open salvation
for everyone else as was planned), the one who fulfilled, ultimately,
the three witnesses given on the earth all of which agree with each other
and can also translate into death, burial, and resurrection.
- To fulfill when He, the Holy Spirit, moved upon the face of the water in
Gen 1:2 by walking on water in His physical, Messianic, body (Matt
14:25-26; Mark 6:48-49). In the Bible scholars have long known that water
is a symbol of peoples and so in moving upon the water Yahshua the Messiah
was, in type, symbolizing how He would be moving upon the people as the Holy
Spirit when He broke up His spiritual body for believers to gain entrance into
His spiritual body which is Yahweh Elohim. When His
Holy Spirit moves on people it fulfills the prophecy made in Jer
31:31-34.
- To fulfill writing the 10 commandments twice in stone with His finger on
Mt. Sinai (Ex 31:18; 34:1) by writing them again two times with His
finger in the sand (John 8:6-8). This fulfillment was the action that
announced He was bringing that physical 10 commandment law to an end. In fact,
we know what He wrote in the sand by understanding - knowing that He
was Elohim in a specially prepared body and that He
truly meant it when he stated He came to fulfill the Law and the Prophets -
that He had to be fulfilling some other time that He wrote something two
times. Writing it in sand insured that it would not last, it would blow away
with the first wind or be obliterated by footsteps quickly, possibly by His
very footsteps. Further, the reason the first stone tablets were destroyed was
that they were a type and shadow that the Old Covenant law, that Israel could
not keep for 1490 years, would be fulfilled (ended, completed, done away with)
by Yahshua (Col 2:14) in order to make available the eternal Spirit Law which
could then be written in the hearts and minds of men rather than on stone
tablets as prophesied in Jer 31:31-34 which told of the New Covenant
promise, a promise made originally to Abraham (Gen 22:18).
- To fulfill transforming into Elohim right in front of Aaron, Nadab, and
Abihu on Mt. Sinai (Ex 24:9) by transforming into Elohim right in front
of Peter, James and John on a high mountain (Matt 17:1-3; Luke
9:28-31). This proves that He is Yahweh Elohim, His Father (John
14:7-10) in whose name He comes (John 5:43).
As John the Beloved tells us in John 21:25 "...many other
things that Yahshua did, the which, if they should be written, every one, I
suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be
written" about Him. Every step He took had meaning, many of which we can find if
we know how to look, "...here a little, there a little...line upon
line...precept upon precept..." (Is 28:9-13) for the institution of
things in the Old Testament and the fulfillment of them by Yahshua the Messiah
in the New Testament. This preponderence of evidence gives us faith (Heb
11:1) as our knowledge grows through grace and the receiving of His Holy
Spirit which gives us eternal life with Yahweh Elohim (John 17:3). No man
lived long enough, thousands of years, to create these institutions and
fulfillments: it had to be Yahweh's purpose, pattern, and plan in operation to
point us to the One Who is salvation, Yahshua the Messiah.
